The 9 Essential Amino Acids are: Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, and Valine. These amino acids are not produced by the body, therefore they must come from foods. These foods include eggs, soybeans, red meat, poultry, and seafood.
